Energy Conservation Competition – Ukraine

In April 1998, IIEC participated in the evaluation committee of the all-Ukrainian Competition "Energy Conservation 98", along with the State Committee of Ukraine Energy Conservation, Kharkiv State Regional Inspection of Energy Conservation, Kharkiv State Oblast Administration, Information and Analytical Journal "Energosberezhenie", and Ukrainian Northeastern Energy Service Company "ESCO-Kharkiv".

Policy Development and Research – Ukraine

IIEC-Europe worked with local Ukrainian partners on disseminating information and gaining support for Joint Implementation (JI) activities in Ukraine through a JI Workshop. The Energy Conservation Competition and JI Workshop provided information on the range of sustainable energy investment opportunities available in Ukraine. IIEC followed up these events with further project development and implementation to create a portfolio of potential JI projects.
