The project aims to provide capacity building and technical assistance in support of implementing the instructions regarding compulsory energy audits for all facilities consuming more than 50 tons of oil equivalent (toe). The project also supports the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in justifying the policy (Bylaw 73) on mandatory energy audits for the largest energy consumers and developing new approaches to enlist the support of the private sector regarding this policy.
