Project Description and Summary of Services |
IIEC was contracted to design and develop the ASEAN Climate Change Action Database (ACCAD) system for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), as part of the activities of the Southeast Asia Network of Climate Change (SEAN-CC) and its focal points. ACCAD is aimed at supporting the Integrated Analysis and Development of Framework Policies for Low Emissions and Climate Change Resilient Development in the region. ACCAD will facilitate and support the key stakeholders in making sound policy, technology and investment choices that lead to a reduction in greenhouse gases emissions; and potential co-benefits by sharing the necessary information on resource potentials pertaining to CC actions in ASEAN. ACCAD is designed to compile information pertaining to CC actions, including but not limited to, legislative and/or regulatory frameworks, status of CC action projects, outcomes and impacts, with highly relevant resource projects, case studies, best practices and tools in ASEAN region.
